Everyone throws around their own list of the “best analytics and SEO software.” Obviously, “analytics software” does not mean Google Analytics or other basic shit that you should have for your website. Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Nelio A/B Testing
  • StatCounter (yes, nothing tells you how you are doing better on any given day than StatCounter). I often check my SC over my GA.
  • Quicksprout (for heatmaps).

For SEO software, people always say “Hey, I use SEMrush” or some other expensive subscription. Here is what I use to do my keyword research:

  • Google. Yes. Google.
  • Moz
  • SEMrush
  • Agency Analytics
  • WooRank (great for telling you how your site is doing from a “checklist” style perspective.

That wasn’t that revolutionary of a list, was it. These are things that every digital marketer should be using as part of their digital marketing arsenal.
